Resources

At KAPAAW, we recognize the importance of equitable access to resources as a fundamental aspect of addressing social determinants of health and promoting equity. Our organization is committed to providing a wide range of resources to support the needs of our community.

Through initiatives like our annual MLK Food Giveaway and Diaper Drive, we aim to alleviate food insecurity and provide essential items for families in need. Additionally, our new programs launching in the fall, such as the food bank, free monthly community dinners, after-school program, and case management services, will further expand our resource offerings.

These initiatives are driven by our nonprofit's mission to empower and uplift Black women and families by providing access to vital resources that promote stability, well-being, and self-sufficiency.

By ensuring equitable access to resources, we seek to address systemic barriers, improve health outcomes, and create a more resilient and thriving community for all.
